Bataille Royale Event Invitation
Mont-Sainte-Anne is proud to host the FIS Snowboard Cross World Cup Bataille Royale from March 24, 2026 to March 30, 2026 – and you’re invited! Leave your sword and armor at home; all you need is the drive to win. This thrilling event will feature two individual starts, where only the fastest and most fearless will cross the finish line first.
Choosing Mont-Sainte-Anne as the venue for the SBX World Cup is a perfect match. Quebec has firmly established itself as a premier destination for international sporting events, and hosting the Bataille Royale Snowboard Cross World Cup is a testament to that. The event’s host hotel is the Delta by Marriott, Mont-Sainte-Anne Resort & Convention Center, which offers a 24-hour fitness center, indoor pool, whirlpool, and the relaxing Aqua Nordik Center, ensuring you’re fully refreshed for the competition.

Registration, Quotas and Fees
Registration for the World Cups must be completed online via the FIS Registration and Entry system, with all submissions made by National Sports Organizations. It is essential to keep your FIS registration up to date, as the online portal is the sole method the organizing committee uses to process entries and generate invoices for each nation.
*Please note that while the organizing committee is available to respond to inquiries by email, they do not accept cancellations or modifications through this method. Any changes must be processed through the official online registration system.
Deadline for entry:
- Provisional entry: February 15, 2026
- Final entries: March 17, 2026
Quotas: FIS World Cup Quotas for entries will be used. Quotas will be based on the provisional entries. Details are below:
Registration Fees:
A registration fee of 30 CHF will be charged for each athlete to register per day. Please see a detailed breakdown below.
A registration fee of 120 CHF will be charged for each athlete to register for the event participating in 4 total days of training and competition. This includes training day(s), qualifications and finals on March 28, 2026 and March 29, 2026.
Invoicing:
The organizing committee will issue invoices for each nation based on the registrations submitted through the FIS portal. If you require your nation’s invoice to be split into multiple invoices, please submit your request via email to ongnvyyr.eblnyr@pnanqnfabjobneq.pn before the official arrival date. All participants must be registered in the FIS registration system before making any such requests.
Invoices for this event will default to a single, collective invoice for each nation as per the FIS portal registrations unless a separate request has been made. Should you need to make any changes to an invoice, please ensure you provide ample notice. Note that changes will not be accepted after March 18, 2026.
Please inform the OC by email (ongnvyyr.eblnyr@pnanqnfabjobneq.pn) if any of the following information is required within each invoice before March 18, 2026.
- Specific person invoices should be billed to
- Specific billing address needed on invoice
- If the bill needs to be split in any way (ie. support staff and athletes separate, athletes from the same nation being billed separately, etc).
- Correct contact information will be needed for each individual invoice.
Deposit invoices will be sent after the provisional deadline has passed 16.02.2026. This will be equal to 40% of the nation's total.
Following the final entry deadline March 18, 2026, a final invoice will be sent. This will be for the remaining balance, based on final team registration. Payment will be due prior to official arrival.
Payment:
Payment will be accepted via credit card or wire transfer. NO cash will be accepted.
If your nation plans to pay via wire transfer, please inform the OC (ongnvyyr.eblnyr@pnanqnfabjobneq.pn) prior to March 18 , 2026 so correct details can be sent for this process.
Prepayment before the nation's arrival is preferred and encouraged. Payment via credit card will be accepted onsite, but is discouraged.
Please note: Payment per individual person will NOT be accepted, invoices are created per nation. Please see the invoicing details above.
Accommodation
Athlete accommodation will be provided at the Delta Hotels, Mont Sainte-Anne, Resort & Convention Center in Beaupré, Quebec
FIS rate accommodations are available from March 24, 2026 to March 30, 2026.
Delta Hotels Mont Sainte-AnneRates:
The following rates are for double shared rooms:- 80 CHF per person/ per night incl. Breakfast & Dinner (for teams)
- 110 CHF per person/ per night incl. Breakfast & Dinner (for additional support staff outside in accordance FIS WC 4.3.3)
Allocation of additional single rooms per team can be provided at a rate of CHF 120 including tourist tax, credit cards and bank fees according to the following table:
- 3 or 4 officials = 1 additional single room
- 5 or 6 officials = 2 additional single rooms
- 7 or more officials = 3 additional single rooms
If more single rooms are requested, this will be subject to availability and local market rates will apply.
Please note the following:
- Prices will be higher than listed above for nations requesting single rooms
- Anyone who arrives without having accommodations requested in their registration OR not registered at all will not be guaranteed accommodation at the FIS rate
- A credit card will be required at check-in for incidentals/ damages
- The host hotel will charge the individual/ teams for all incidents and damages that may occur in your hotel room.
- Any parking fees will be charged to the individual/ teams
Rates listed above are only offered until February 16, 2026, any reservations made after these dates are not guaranteed at the FIS rate. Please make sure all your accommodation planning is completed prior.
Cancellations/ No-Show:
Cancellations of any accommodations MUST be done through the FIS online registration system. The OC does not accept any cancellations or changes via email.
- Cancellation(s) between March 18, 2026 through until 2 calendar days before hotel check-in will result in a 50% cancellation fee of the full accommodations fees.
- Cancellation(s) 1 calendar day prior to hotel check-in/ no show will result in a 100% cancellation fee of full accommodations fees.
- Reductions of nights booked at the hotel that are made between March 18, 2026 through until 2 calendar days before hotel check-in will result in a 50% cancellation fee of canceled nights.
- Reductions of nights booked at the hotel that are made 1 calendar day prior to hotel check-in/ no show will result in a 100% cancellation fee of canceled nights.
- Cancellations for any reasons, will be subject to this cancellation policy including injury.
All cancellation/ no-show fees will be billed directly to the nation, and payment is expected within 30 days.
Meals:
Half board (breakfast and dinner) will be arranged by the OC each day. Time and location will be dependent on the event schedule. Details will be shared with registered teams. Lunch will be at the cost of the athlete, options will be available at Mont-Sainte-Anne.
*Teams that chose NOT to stay at the host hotel but would like to participate in the LOC arranged meal plan at the host hotel there will be a charge of 35 CHF per person/ per day for breakfast and dinner. This must be arranged on or before March 18, 2026. Failure to make arrangements by this date will result in non-availability.
Booking:
Accommodations need to be booked in the FIS online registration form. Please do not contact the host hotel as they will not be able to offer the same rates. Please keep the FIS registration up to date, failure to do so may result in cancellation, change penalties or unavailable rooms.
Transportation
Teams are responsible for their own transportation to and from Beaupré, Quebec. The closest international airport is, Québec City Jean Lesagne International Airport - YQB. You may also choose to fly to Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport - YUL, as it is a larger airport with more flight options.
Once you have arrived in Québec, you can use the following address.

Each nation will be responsible for their own transportation to Beaupré, Quebec. The following taxi services offer pick-up at the Québec City Airport and local transportation while in Beaupré.
Please note that there is no public transportation available.
VISA
All travelling parties may need to have a valid Canadian Visa. The organizing committee will provide a specific visa invitation to the competitors if required. Please contact ongnvyyr.eblnyr@pnanqnfabjobneq.pn for invitation letters.
A table including the following information for all participants needs to be included with email:
- Last and first names
- Date of birth
- Function/position (athlete, coach, technician…)
- Passport country
- Passport number
- Passport expiration date
- FIS number (for athletes)

Team Captain Meeting
Team Captain's meetings will be held in person at the Delta Mont Sainte-Anne. The schedule and location will be shared with all registered teams closer to the event date. Please note the first TCM will be at 19:00 on March 24, 2026.
Bibs
All competitors must wear assigned bibs during all scheduled training, competition and awards ceremonies. Bib distribution will take place at the first team captains' meeting, which is to be held the day before official training.
Equipment storage /Wax
Wax facilities will be available in accordance with FIS Rule WC 4.3.7 - more details to come.
The competitors, coaches and officials must store their snowboards, wax and waxing tools in the area provided by the hotel or team vehicles. Snowboards will not be permitted in your hotel room.
Prize Money
Prize money will be paid per FIS Rule WC 4.6.2
The winners will receive their money via bank transfer.
Prize money will be transferred using the payment information in the athletes' FIS profile. An email notification will be sent if additional or confirmation of information is required.
Failure to provide accurate banking information in the FIS Athlete Profile will result in non-payment. Please ensure accurate banking information is uploaded on the athlete's FIS profile immediately following the competition.

Anti-doping
Anti-doping control may be conducted for each discipline and gender, following the rules and regulations set forth by FIS.
Medical services
Each competitor must have his/her own medical Travel Insurance. The Organizing Committee, Mont-Sainte-Anne, Canadian Snowsports Association, FIS, Canada Snowboard, sponsors and suppliers decline any responsibility for accidents, damaged equipment, and second and third-party claims during the event.
In the case of accidents on course during the event, medical personnel from the OC and Ski Patrol personnel will be responsible for any medical decision or evacuation to the local hospital in cooperation with the National Sports Associations’ medical personnel identified on the entry form.
A detailed medical plan is in place and medical staff will be present during all training and competition.
Regulations & Insurance
All athletes, officials, and members of their National Sports Associations participating in the event do so at their own risk. The organizing committee (OC), Quebec Snowboard, Mont-Saint-Anne, the Canadian Snowsports Association, FIS, Canada Snowboard, sponsors, suppliers, as well as their agents, employees, and volunteers, shall not be held liable for any losses, injuries, or damages sustained by any individual in connection with the organization or execution of the event. Participants are strongly advised to take care in safeguarding their personal belongings at all times. The aforementioned parties will not be responsible for any lost or missing items.
Liability
All athletes, officials and other members of their National Sports Association who attend and participate in the event shall do so at their own risk. The Organizing Committee, sponsors, suppliers, their agents, employees, & volunteers, shall not be held responsible for any losses or injuries incurred or suffered by any athlete, official or other person in conjunction with the organization or staging of the event. All participants are urged not to be negligent in safeguarding their personal belongings at all times. The aforementioned parties will take no responsibility for missing belongings.
