Alpine Snow TKO FIS Snowboard World Cup Invitation
Welcome / Introduction
We are delighted to announce the return of the Alpine Snow TKO FIS Snowboard Parallel Giant Slalom World Cup for 2024. We invite all international Snowboard teams to contest the event hosted at Craigleith Ski Club, in the town of Blue Mountain, Ontario February 13 - 17, 2024.
Canada Snowboard strives to be an active and respectful partner in reconciliation. This includes recognizing the Indigenous Peoples' past, present and future. The Alpine Snowboard World Cup will be hosted at Craigleith Ski Club which sits on the unceded ancestral lands and waterways of the Anishnaabek, Haudenosaunee, and Wyandotte Peoples, within the territory covered by Lake Simcoe-Nottawasaga Treaty 18. They, along with many other First Nations, have been the stewards of this land since time -immemorial and we are grateful to be able to gather, compete and play on this beautiful and diverse territory.
Featuring one individual start and one team event, do you have what it takes to stand atop the podium and claim the prestigious Alpine TKO Championship belt?
Craigleith Ski Club and the surrounding community are the home of Alpine snowboarding in Ontario and neighbours Blue Mountain Resort, which has hosted highly successful past World Cup events. The Club offers terrain perfectly suited to this snowboard discipline and with the course finishing right in front of the lodges at the base, provides the ultimate arena for spectators, supporters, family and friends to enjoy the thrilling, fast-paced head-to-head knockout action that only PGS can provide.
